DealershipRecruiting.com is a trade name of Sherwood Recruiting LLC. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it and who handles it.
What we collect
When you order, Stripe collects your card or bank account details on its own secure checkout page; we never see or store them. We receive your name, email, phone, billing address, dealership name, store location and order. When you send the intake form, we receive what you enter, including whether you agreed to receive text messages. When you call, text or email, we receive what you share. When you send your information or resume from the jobs page, we receive what you enter and the file you attach.
How we use it
Only to run your search, send receipts, contact you about your order and meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their marketing.
Service providers
- Stripe processes card and bank payments.
- Netlify hosts this site and receives form submissions.
- Resend delivers order notification emails to us.
- A text messaging provider sends and receives text messages.
Each handles data under its own privacy terms and only to provide its service. None of this sharing includes mobile opt-in data or consent.
Cookies and tracking
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site, such as which pages they view, how they arrived, and whether they use the calculator, request a quote or place an order. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and collects information such as your device, browser, approximate location and the pages you visit. We have turned off Google’s advertising features and Google signals. We do not use advertising trackers or tracking pixels, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
- Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga) to measure visits. Google’s use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout page to process payments and prevent fraud.
- Netlify, our host, may set strictly necessary cookies to deliver the site securely and protect our forms from spam.
Because we do not track you, there is nothing to opt out of. We still honor browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track.
How long we keep it
We keep order, intake and candidate records for as long as necessary to run searches, honor the 90-day guarantee, match candidates with future openings and meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements. When we no longer need information, we delete it.
Candidates
When you submit your resume or information, you agree that we may send your resume and information to our dealership clients for review as we consider you for openings.
- Candidates never pay. Our fees are paid by dealerships. We never charge candidates a fee for any reason.
- Where your information comes from. Most comes from you. We may also receive it from job boards, professional networking sites such as LinkedIn and referrals.
- Jobs board. Job listings on the jobs page are posted by the employers named on them. Applying there goes to that employer under its own privacy terms.
AI and automated decisions
We do not use artificial intelligence or any automated system to make hiring or screening decisions about candidates. A person on our team reviews every candidate we present, and every hiring decision is made by the dealership.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to know what personal information we have about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you can use the other rights at any time.

- Verification: we confirm your identity by matching details you already gave us, such as your email address and phone number, before acting on a request.
- Authorized agents: someone can make a request for you with your signed permission.
- Timing: we respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and take no more than 45 more days.
- No penalty: we will never treat you differently for using these rights. If we decline a request, you can ask us to reconsider by replying to our answer.
Children and U.S. use
This site is for adults in the United States. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this page
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
Text messaging terms
If you opt in, we text you from (574) 213-7122 about your order and search: intake scheduling, candidate updates, interview coordination and replies to your questions. We send only the messages you signed up for, and no marketing texts. You opt in by checking the text message box on the intake form or by texting us first.
- Frequency: message frequency varies with your order and search.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply for messages we send to you and you send to us. Questions about your plan go to your wireless provider.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time. We will send one message confirming you are unsubscribed, and then no more. To rejoin, opt in again the same way.
- Help: reply HELP, or email support@dealershiprecruiting.com.
- Not required: agreeing to texts is never a condition of placing an order.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every kind of sharing described on this page and will not be shared with any third party.
